About Mrs. Walton
Originally from Dublin, GA, Mrs. Walton is a graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. She has completed thirty-four years in the field of education, teaching at both elementary and high school levels across the state. She is proud to begin her thirteenth year at Buford High School as a Language Arts teacher and Chairman of the Department of Special Education.
She enjoys traveling, cooking, Georgia history, and Buford Athletics. Mrs. Walton is married to Berry Walton, who recently retired from Hall County Schools where he served as a school administrator for 20 years. The Waltons have two daughters, Callie Walton Hubbard and Carin Walton Booth, who are both Buford High School graduates. The Waltons also have two grandsons, Wyatt (2) & Cason (1).
